    Default Fishing Fort Cobb Lake

I said it was too hot to take the boat out yesterday but the grandson, son-in-law and Rigrunner said they were going out in the pontoon anyway. It does have a large canopy for shade so I went with them at 7 pm and fished until 10 pm. The wind was nice and cool so not bad at all. Caught 9 large crappie, one catfish, one sand bass, one 8 # hybrid and lost about that many. We were trolling along the dam. It was a beautiful night and the 10 minute moonlight ride to our dock was a lovely ride.

    Default grandson?

Southern Woman, is that the grandson you were talking about in one of your posts the other day? I can't remember what you were (joking) going to do to him....maybe throw him off the boat???

I love night fishing! It is so cool and nice once those bugs clear out.
Looks like you had some fun!

OK,OK so he is bigger than me and yep that is him. He outfished all of us so I do threaten to toss him overboard. Of course he swims like a fish and goes noodling all the time with his cousins....they have the arm scars to show for it. Going out again in a few minutes for some evening and night fishing.
