It's a country cafe in Stockyards City....no fancy stuff here. They are famous for their salad dressing, tho'. I had a friend bring down a team of computer experts for a project here and wanted to know where to eat. The team went there and when he got his salad there was a dead fly in it. He was a tough Yankee and asked the waiter if the fly was part of the dressing. The waiter was embarrassed and brought him a new salad and free beer for the team for the evening. From that time on, Jeff always went there when in OKC (and brought his own fly with him.)

Excellent food and home made desserts. A historic restaurant in the OKC Stockyards .

It's pretty good. Jumps at Fairfax changed owners, not as good. Clicks at Pawnee isn't bad. I haven't tried the changed Steak & Catfish Barn in OKC. A guy at work swears by Mahogany's in OKC. Better bring a credit card, he said $100 for two with water. But the best steak he has ever eaten, and he has eaten a lot of them(family raises cattle). If you can't tell, I like to eat.

I've never been impressed at all. Basically an old school steak house that hasn't updated anything(decor or menu) in 50 years. It's ok but there are much better places to eat a steak(and side salad).

The fact that it is always busy and has lasted all these years is a testament to doing something right. Junior's has not changed any and it is doing well too.

Ditto on Juniors, Cricket George! They have a good wine selection and their 'made at the table' ceasar salad is fantastic!
Having said that, Cattlemans is on Agnew in the stockyards and has been there a very long time. At least 50 years. It's not on a par with the really high end places like Papa's in Dallas but, you won't pay $200 per person either. The steaks are worth a visit even if the decor or sides aren't to your liking. I've been there many times and will go back, for sure.

I have eaten there twice. Neither meal was particularly tasty or seemed worth the money. Both times were so long ago that I cannot remember what I ordered other than it was beef.
