I am a falconer with a lapsed license and I am in the Philippines til next February so not much help. I can help you with the exam in about a year if you are still into it. Or you might try contacting the ODWC and requesting a list of current falconers. If that doesn't work I know that the most vid falconers in the Tulsa area also belong to the Scottish or Mideval type clubs- maybe try The Castle in Muscogee for info on these. Passage Redtails are very easy to trap in the fall and are a blast to hunt with. I rarely failed to catch rabbits with mine and once Max caught a six foot corn snake and a lost wallet in about 30 minutes! I'm sure you know that all raptors are protected and steep penalties await those in possession of one without licensing. It is well worth the effort tho- until you get too old and deaf to hear the bells; bummer.
