Well, I'll add a few lakes that weren't mentioned. All within 40 miles.
Lake Ponca, Shidler lake, Fairfax lake,
Lake McMurtry, Pawnee city lake(trout) and Blue Stem. Each lake has great fishing opportunities.

I too would extend a warm Oklahoma welcome. I hunt in the Blackwell area. I fish all over the state. Kaw is closest to you. Pawhuska City lake is a great fishing trip. Beautiful Country and lots of Blue Gill. You can catch some really large Rainbow trout there too. Yup I said Rainbow Trout. Caught some real nice ones trying to catch Crappie. Ask me sometime if you go there and I will tell you what I was doing. It is an East to West Lake in a basin so not too much wind. Hope you are enjoying Oklahoma.
