I am 72 with heart trouble & diabetes on both side of my family..My dad's folks had a life span average of 57 years. A little longer on my mother's side. I don't smoke or drink. I have a physical yearly and ask my doctor each year,"is it time for a heart checkup"..He says,"no". Like Reaper, I don't have heartburn or indigestion.

Do you have to have problems before having a heart checkup..? Blood sugar 80-90 & BP average 124/74.

I am due for my annual physical next month and I will ask him the same question again...
