Before anybody takes me wrong I am just giving Brian aka (EB) a hard time. I am not crazy about spider rigging but it sure catches a lot of fish. I prefer rod in hand and feeling the thump but have spider rigged, aka trot lining Rofl with Brian a couple times and enjoyed it.
Ranger, I would definately get some rods from Big George!

Ranger if you're just looking for some "cheap rods" Woody's out by keystone has a Stinger brand rod in 10' and 12' for under $25 each. I have a couple in 8' and 9' and have no complaints. Of course I've never used an expensive crappie rod so I have nothing to compare to but they pull slabs just fine.
