Day 1 is in the books and I guess I should have figured out Okie #5's name earlier. His name is Dale Hightower from Terlton,OK and after Day 1 he is the highest ranking Okie in the 50 man field. Dale stands in 6th place with 15-9. Edwin Evers, of Talala is 14th with 14-2, followed closely by Tommy Biffle, of Wagoner, in 18th with 13-5. Jeff Kriet, of Ardmore, is 27th with 11-1 and Terry Butcher of Talala is 34th with 9-9. Day 2 is Sat. with the field being cut to 25 for Sunday's final day.

Well, who won? Were there any Okies finish close to the top?

Stink - Kevin van Dam won the classic. There were no Okies near the top.
