I just keep looking til I find one on my downscan that looks like it's covered with Christmas tree lights. That's where I fish! The 220 day included way too many dinks but my buddy was into numbers and didn't care. Right now the area I just described is holding a LOT of short fish so it's a great spot to teach someone how to sense the bite and SET THE HOOK! Hope this helps Minnowtime. Feels weird giving advice when usually I'm the one asking for advice- good luck.
CC, I went over that area and could not find one brush pile. Saw clouds of shad but no brush. Either my locator is trash or I'm not in the right spot. I saw a man in what I think was a tracker fishing that point the other day and he said he was fishing for crappie. I need to know when you or someone who knows how to catch Crappie so I could tag along with my boat and watch.
