I fished Saturday from 11am to around 5pm. The walkways to the docks were submerged. I couldn't believe how high the water was. The Redbud boat ramp was only about three feet to the water's edge. We caught five crappie the entire day, all in the first pile we tried. We tried about five other locations that normally produce very well this time of the year, and they just weren't there. I'm sure the major increase in water level and the drop in water temps (surface water temp was around 45 degrees Saturday) has really confused the fish (or the fisherman). Looking forward to better, and slightly warmer fishing days.
