That's a great program they have there. I just looked at the 2009 map thinking it would be the most up to date... I didn't realize they were set up so that each year was a different area. Looks like I have some homework to do. Thanks for that info and the link.

Where do they announce when/where they will be doing these drops. I would like to volunteer if possible.

All, brushpile day is always held on the second saturday in September which will be September 11th this year and will be at Blue Creek as mentioned earlier. Usually we start things off around 9:00am and work until 12:30 or 1:00 and then we'll eat lunch, give out some prizes, and for those that wish to go back out and drop some more brush, we can load up and work until3:00-3:30pm. All you need to bring is a lifejacket and a pair of gloves, we will supply everything else. Hope to see everyone there. Jason Person, Park Ranger @ Oologah Lake.

I'd also like to know if they do this on either Ft. Gibson or Eufaula. I've never heard of it on either lake. Would be a good program to start, especially on Gibson!

Welcome to the board Jason! Hope to see you stop by often. What's Shockley doing now that he's retired? Has he dropped in on you guys much out of boredom yet?
