Crappie at Oologah remains consistent despite our crazy weather and water releases. Lots of action fishing both ledges and brush. The jig bite is getting better with minnows still outproducing most days. We've caught fish this week as shallow as 4ft and as deep as 28ft. The sweet spot most days has been 14-20ft close to the bottom being best for the larger fish. If the amount of short fish is any indication of the future, it's looking to be a great next couple of years!

Looks like a couple of whoppers Bronco! Did you take the time to weigh and/or measure those brutes? If you're like most of these guys they prefer not to do either- makes it easier to speculate about how big they are without coming right out and lying about it. Let us know and thanks for the post- great picture So!
Ciller, all I can do is guesstimate...
keep it that way Bronco. I used to only guesstimate bc it was all i did. now i only do it for Ciller. He is OCD about those weights and measurements!

Mostly on minnows, but I believe we could have done as well on jigs. Not sure why Reaper wants a landscape photo instead of portrait. Is he saying he doesn't want to see your face George? ��
