It's always a good day when it ends like this! Zeke and I fished all new areas on Oologah today. We caught 58. Had several nice fish. We did the best on brush and laydowns in 6-12 FOW. Drop shot minnows were very effective Attachment 246466

Had our best day for numbers yesterday. Zeke and I caught 184 crappie (I think we missed a few clicks) and tried all new areas for us on Oologah, in Talala, and just outside of Talala. Minnows worked best, although they were also hitting a blue hair jig pretty well. By far the majority were dinks, but we did catch a few real beauties too. Fun day!Attachment 246661Attachment 246662Attachment 246663
Dang I didn't know those clickers went that high
Do you two goobers ever weigh and measure those slabs or do you prefer that we just guess high? (-;
Congrats Masterpiece and crew. Watch out or C2 will have you calculating in ounces!! LOL
Here you go CC! Best two fish were 13" (1.16 lbs), and 13.5" (1.16 lbs). Crazy that they weighed exactly the same. We caught around 10-12 that were 11" or bigger (I think we could have weighed 7 fish 12" and bigger). Not a great ratio, but still good enough for a middle of the pack finish Saturday (by my guess). :)
This was the prettiest!Attachment 246681
We weighed 4 fish, the two Kyle mentions above, and two that went 0.9 lb. They were 12" fish. Our biggest 7 would have come in a little over 6 lbs I figure. Hoping it's good enough to win a pack of Beaver Bottoms or maybe a 4 pack of hooks this Saturday...Heck at this point I'll take a pity prize!!
So I'm curious how many of you guys fish the lower end of the lake hawthorn,redbud or bulecreek. I go there often as its a quick drive from owasso for me but summer time fishing gets tough. I have only been over to blue creek once. Not asking for GPS locations but also curious as to what parts of the lake you think are better then others.
