With the rain is it worth the trip to Eufaula this weekend? If so, what would be the key areas to look for?

Hit the north end this evening. Fished 5:00 to 7:30, kept 28. Threw back several that would have kept and several more shorts. Double dipping 6' give or take and very aggressive bite. There wasn't really a color pattern, but something with orange did best. It was a fun evening.

I fished south end this weekend and all we caught where dinks. We just could not locate the larger fish. Are they deep or on structure right now? We tried both. The lake should be great for years to come though.

My son and I cleaned 38 this morning from the north end. No real big fish but most were 11" plus, nice cleaning size. Kept the boat in 6.5 to 7' and caught most on the shallow side of the boat. Some of the fish were in 4 to 5 FOW. I did try out deeper thinking the bigger fish might be out a bit, but didn't get bit. Double dipping. We probably caught 100 and, again, threw back several that would have kept if one were on a meat mission.
I do have to put a plug in for the Pro Built "Game Changer" jigs. They have a double barb that holds the plastic really well without glue and without tearing through the plastic. I used the old Yum baits and Beaver Bottom plastics, both worked well on the Game Changers.

Winger. If you don't mind telling, what were you targeting? Wood, rock, suspended, riprap?
CHECrappie, primarily rip rap. I didn't try any wood.
