That is in the plans too. I can get away only one day with kids being sick. If nothing is shaking at hugo I was going to go somewhere else. Chances are I'll be at hugo on Saturday fishing with pappa.

I've caught several over the last few weekends on our dock -- I don't fish from our boat, so I don't chase after the fish (I just let the fish come to me - I wish). There have been several boats up in around the docks near mine that have been doing very well on jigs (but I'm a diehard minnow user). So if you are out and about and in the Rock Creek Cove area (near Arrowhead Estates), stop by and say Hi. I'll probably be down at the dock for a few hours on Saturday and Sunday afternoons this weekend.

What depth are they biting at right now? Might go try to find some this wknd. Thanks for any info you share! I live on the north end, but might head down south so would appreciate depths on both ends. Any creeks been good yet?

Ok a good report for y'all. Fished today from blocker bridge to rock creek and back to crowder cove. Me and a buddy ended up cleaning 41 good fish today. Fished from 9:30-4. Bobby Garland 3" slab Slayers pumpkin/chartreuse and black/chartreuse. No consistent pattern at all. Caught fish from 9-25 fow, in and around brush and suspended away from any cover whatsoever under bait in open water. Big fish was lost "of course", way over 2lb. Biggest fish landed weighed 1lb 10 ounce. Caught close to 80 total. Fish were schooled in size. If we caught 3-4 small ones they were all small.
Had a great time with Joe and David as usual yesterday. We fished wood all day and caught them 7' to 18' with no pattern as far as that perfect depth. Timmy Toms Jigs kept up snag free with 3 fisherman never losing a jig all day. 10'7" Huckabee Pro Series Rods was awesome getting those big fish turned and headed out of the wood. Beautiful day after a cool start......Ranger

Went to the BIG E for the first time since last summer. Was hearing some good reports on the north end but those went down the drain real quick. Was high and dry with no success until about 10:30. Finally started putting the Garmin locators to work and ultimately found fish in 7-10 foot that were super active. Water temp got up to 53 degrees and water clarity was about 1 millimeterjust kidding about 3 inches. BF was 14 inches and a pound 5 ounces. Brought home and cleaned 63. Caught most on a 1/8 ounce black and char Bobby garland baby shad. The thump was real today boys!! (Not all fish are pictured would not fit on the table)
