The westside?? The side where you have to go down the 1 road. I was fishing down a bit where there is a lot of sand next to a giant gar carcass with maggots all over it.

And you can't catch them sitting in your boat parked in your barn!

Went out last Friday on the north end in the muddy water. Cleaned 15 pulling jigs in 9-10ft. Pump chart was the best color. The water looks muddy but when you fish it you have around 6 inch vis. Yesterday I guided the south end there's around 2 ft vis down there. We struggled most of the day but ended up catching 15 nice fish. We were pulling jigs in 12-14ff. Pump chart and silver chart www the 2 best colors.

Varmint hunter You can use both Hickory pt and Elm pt boat ramps. EB

Went out for a couple of hours on the north end Tuesday evening with my good friend Wareagle69. We were pulling jigs in 7-9ft. Orange chart was the best color. Water vis was 6 inches. We ended up keeping 20. Probably the best 2 hrs I've had on the north end catching fish in a long time. EB

EB I haven't pulled jugs before for Crappie and could use some guidance. What weight head were you using? Do you find bigger bait and weight is better in this muddy water?

EB, I see the fish haven't changed their mind about orange on the north end.
