Boat ramp is open across from number nine. . . . . . I am seeing folks drive around the road closed signs at ramps and using them. . . What are your thoughts on that?

Did this happen in the parking lot? Did anyone get the poop kicked out of them? Just thinking,,,,<*)}}}><

With the lake level coming down, more ramps should be accessible now. The ramp in Arrowhead Estates is accessible - it was being used all weekend. The ramp at Arrowhead is nice wide paved ramp and there shouldn't be much traffic there since there isn't a marina anymore.

Well, Texoma fell to the top of the spillway yesterday at 1 PM according to the 6 pm news. So, at least its contained and the inflow is almost stopped. From what I hear, all ramps and marinas are closed and under water and will be for a while. If we get more rain this weekend, only God knows what will happen.
Sonnyboy drove over to the south dyke yesterday morning. The 'old oil field' is under water and they are frantically pumping it out but, expect it to take till mid next week. Seems to me it's still too soon to tell when things will stabilize down here.
We did hit Lake Murray Tuesday morning. Murray is just below the top of the spillway. Water is stained but, not bad. I hooked a good size drum but, that was the only bite we had all morning. But, I've never had much luck on Murray.
Guess we'll hit some of the smaller lakes down here till we can get back on Texoma again.

Boat docks here at Arrowhead Estates are useable again. Lake level has dropped enough to allow the walk-ways\ramps to be used to access the docks. I'm looking forward to some fishing in the days to come. I sure have been missing my fishing.

Jim, let me know how the fishing is down at the docks. With all the resetting of the docks/pencils, probably most of the slabs have moved to less chaotic areas on the lake. Just trying to decide if it's worth getting some minnows or if I should continue with projects up around the trailer (Kim keeps adding more and more "honey do's" to my list).

Do you recall what I thought had to have been earthquakes when we were fishing on the dock earlier this year? I think they actually were and they have created cracks or holes in the earth. We had extensions added to our pencils to put us 5' above the highest level it was this year - all caps on pencils were above the roof of the dock. The lake has come down about 6-7' and now 2 of our pencils (closest to Junior's dock) are all the way down to the caps on the top. One of them dropped down a week ago when a boat came by and rocked the dock a bit - neighbors were down by the docks and heard a loud bang when the pencil dropped and the cap stopped at the top of the sleeve. The dock repair guy raised it when he moved our dock back into place but that pencil and the other one on that same side dropped all the way down when he set them back. We'll see if the caps come up off the sleeves when the water drops back to normal. If not, we'll either have to have more extensions added, or have the dock moved over till we can find ground again to set them on.

Craig, that's exactly what I want to know as well. And how deep are they? If it's a new channel coming up through there, that's great as I'll be able to catch some kitties. I was hoping we'd hit an oil pocket and a gusher would come up --- I'd be rich and I could retire! But unfortunately, I'm sure it would still be owned by the Corps. I may take an anchor and some rope and see if I can find a depth of it.

Went out yesterday for a couple of hours ended up with 10 keepers before the Thunderstorm run is off. We caught fish pulling jigs and dippin flooded bushes. Pump chart was the good color but it's my favorite color. The water vis was 1ft-1.5ft. WTs were 80. EB
