Fished a little at our dock this past weekend at Arrowhead. Only had 2 really nice keepers and 1 that I kept just to make the basket look a little better. Caught several small dinks. Had a catfish rod out all weekend and never lost my bait. I'll be really happy when the spawn finally kicks in around the dock like it has in the past. A couple of guys are starting to catch some off the walkways up towards the bank -- but like others have reported, it's very sporadic and the bite only lasts a little while before it's time to give up for awhile and try again later.
I'm hard headed and lazy so I'll continue to keep trying on the dock from the comfort of my chair and in the shade of the dock roof. Watching the guys standing on the walkway all day in the sun just looks to uncomfortable for me.

FINALLY crappie hav moved up into my mid-lake spot! I was about to give up my cc slabmaster title and go back to guppy. lol Fished till dark thirty in the rain. Water was mud. Bite was away from my culvert and riprap in 4-6' Light bite(fish were small) on black n chart, beavers and roadrunners also white RR. Minnows probably woulda tore them up. So many fish on ff I thot it was sandbass. Mid-lake fishers get out there

I think the fishing on Eufaula right now has been TOUGH for everyone. I remember 2 years ago we were struggling to catch 15 keepers in 8hrs of fishing. We had thought that we had a numbers problem but thats hard to believe on a 100,000acre lake. Because we had a great June, July, and August so at some point they will start biting so don't lose faith. EB
If the crappie bite is not good the gates will be open. . . I have had nine inches of rain in okc this week and that's not counting the down pour I am having right now. Oh and it's all heading to the big E.
Gates are already open. Expected to be opened even more.
Been slow all this week, just barely catching any. I figure if it keeps up like this i will give up on crappie fishing (in about 40 years).

How high is the lake, how high is it expected to get with all the OKC rain?
The lake has risen 1 foot in the last 12 hrs.
