Tough for me as well. Fished Crowder and Rock a little Sat am, Think I may have caught 20 but didnt bring a knife and returned them, then loaded up and drove to elm point, fished up elm hoping to find some clearer water and warmer temps but didnt happen, NOTHING!! Wow that area looks really good!
Sunday I fished some of the smaller pockets just off of main lake and found 7 fish in one, all but one over a pound, 6 to 8ft in wood. Later in the day drove into gains and made it to the mouth of Buffalo creek, More good looking area down there, but didnt have much time to fish as it was getting late in the day and I had a long drive home ahead... Hoping for a little better bite next weekend,, I would hate to have to stop at the minnow shop!!!!

TC it's a "KILLER CRAPPIE BAIT". Wore them out today fishing it. 10 to 2 today in the dirty water and bigger profile of this bait. Fishing the Buster Brown color which is a Brown Pumpkin w Black Flake/ and Chartreuse Belly. Didn't matter the size of the crappie they ate it. Caught fish from 5" to 17" on it today. Jeff Williams owner of Fle Fly and his camera man Michael were simply amazed to say it lightly. Lol. I knew it was a winner. I had Timmy Cumbie make me some jigs with lite wire 3/0 hooks and they worked great. You do need the bigger hook on the bigger bait....they will be placed on website tomorrow and in production as well......Ranger

finally got around to fixin my boat sat. morning and fished sat and sunday ,,, sat fished mill creek for the first time ,it took me about 2 hours to even find any fish that were willing to eat my jigs ended up with 21 fish were in 8 fow bout 4-6 ft deep on the ends of laydowns on the outside bend of the creeks had to literally hold your pole as still as you could hold it ( slow slow ) only bait they would hit was a 2" blk/pnk beavertail which i am running out of ( BOOOO)
sunday fished south end most of the fish we found really bunched up were unwilling to cooporate ,caught mostly scattered fish on breaklines from 8-15 fow the fish that were willing to eat were suspended about 6ft ,checked shallower spawning areas off and on all day with no luck, not even a nibble if you got shallower than about 6 ft , ended day with 41 keepers

C.C it's a new bait from Fle Fly made in Grove Oklahoma. They offer this bait in 2",21/2",3", and now the 4" version I requested. These baits have a flat tail that can't be held still for some awesome action. www.flefly.com......Ranger
