I bet this Sunday will be packed with temps almost in the 80's!
Looks like most of the peeps will be down around Crowder --- thanks to the Tulsa World. Kelly Bostian: Hot crappie, white bass fishing a few more sunny days away - Tulsa World: Outdoors: Kelly Bostian

I ran down to the south end and fished a few of my spots in Coal, Ash, Elm and towards mouth of Gaines Creek. Got blanked. There were a couple boats on the spot I wanted to fish at Gaines, and saw them catch a few. I was kinda surprised about how muddy it was. I found 70 degree water at the back of a creek.
Figures that we have a nice warm day like today and the wind is blowing 20MPH. Still in that grind here in Mill Creek, though. No luck so far, but I plan on spending the day out here, so hopefully the wind dies down soon and the fish start biting.
Wow 70 degrees!
What's plan B pappa? Thunderbird this weekend!
Went this afternoon and battled the wind....cleaned 10 pretty good fish....water was still 53-56....they were scattered and you had to hit them in the nose with it

Fought the wind, had a lot of patience, and was rewarded with a heaping helping of... humble pie... Came close to catching a sand bass that was fairly sizeable, but my knot slipped and I lost both the fish and my only crank bait, but them's the works. Going to take another crack at it late Thursday night.
