Fished yesterday in the rain and after the rain. From 1 to 8. Caught 23 keepers fishing rap from 8 to 12 feet deep. Big visible jigs worked good. Ran into EB and fished with him for a bit. We had some nice ones mixed in with the 10-12 inchers. EB's biggest was 1.63, mine was 1.52. Big thanks to EB for showing me some spots, and the was-hoppers, my biggest came off a spot he showed me.
Doesn't rain underwater! And the boat got washed 2 days in a row.
Took cpd21 with me yesterday and we had 47 in 3 hrs. Fished big CrappiePro wasshoppas 3ft deep in 3-5 fow. Probably caught 70 total. It's really good right now in the Big E. EB
Anyone spider rigging around the rip rap right now? Thinking about heading that way Thursday afternoon.
Had the chance to take Mike "Slabman" Reynolds and Gaston "Big Crappie" Hall. We had 42, 31 on the wood and 11 pulling jigs. Had a blast taking these to fishing. The hot bait was orange/chart slab slayers on 1/8 orange CrappiePro heads. The fish were 3-5 ft deep. EB
Haven't been rigging...we've been double dipping because the fish seem to be right in the rocks and at a very specific depth...other day while with EB it seemed when you would feel a rock then you would get bit...and you have to find the depth they are in and fish that...good luck and let us know
