Moved in from where? There never was an abundance on down the lake from there. I first started catching more than an occasional black around I40 about 3 years ago. They have definitely increased. It can't just be clearer water. Yes, this year is unusually clear, but the last 3 or 4 years haven't been. Guys on the south end say they have increased there as well in recent years. Could be that the drought years a few years back may have allowed them to get a better foothold? Not sure if fisheries guys have any theories, but I'll ask next time I get the chance.
