where are you wanting to know about? It would depend where you are trying to put in at because some of the ramps will be a problem.

Guys are there any boat ramp issues since the lake is so low?

Fished the North end with my buddy pretty hard this weekend with little success, used many tactics, many depths and many presentations. Guess thats why they call it fishing. My reputation with my daughter and my girlfriends two boys will take a beating this week while they are out of school if it doesn't improve for me. Anyway, I have promised them some fish and I have never gone south of Crowder so I'm a newbie to Gaines which appears to be the best bet right now. With 3 teenagers and 2 adults will have to break out the pontoon this week for spring break - Is it possible to fish a large pontoon in gaines and catch a few fish? Your opinions and suggestions are appreciated.
There were a couple of pontoons in there yesterday so I guess they can launch okay. Don't know if they were catching anything.

Anyone been catching at I40?
me and a buddy went on Saturday. We didn't have any luck, even after trying multiple places and multiple tactics. We couldn't find them around crowder.
It's been really slow the last few days, although there has been success at Gaine's creek, I've not seen anyone catching fish in most places around the lake.
But the spawn is just days or weeks away.![]()

I fished Belle Starr early Sat. AM and only had 5 keepers. Bite quite early, only lasted about 45 minutes. Fished Area 51 late Sat. and had 3 more keepers. They said they had a great bite the night before. Talked to a family that had 26 Fri. night from about 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
13-y.o. grandson has spent a couple of days with me due to spring break and he loves to fish. We caught these at a local dock owned by a friend of mine here in Arrowhead Estates. We started off using jigs, but was having very little luck, so we switched to minnows and ended up with 14 keepers, threw back that many dinks.
My grandson is in for a special treat because he's never eaten crappie. I'm looking forward to later this evening when I see him take his first bite.
