Well Sardis Lake was the same this past weekend, might take a few of these nice warm days to bring them back to life again.
I take no joy from reading that some of the best caught no fish but it does help bring back my confindence. Spent a good part of Sunday at Crowder, found fish (finally) but didn't secure not one bite. Normally fish the river this time of year and I think I will be back out in the river this weekend.
Here's my take on Eufaula, It's down like 5'...Dont believe the "official" Corps levels. The last really good reports were in bridged off creeks. When the main parts of the lake are this low for this long the normal pattern has probably shifted to unexpected parts of the lake. So experiment is the word, but the shallow bite can turn on soon!!

I am heading out to Eufaula to fish this weekend. I am planning on hitting some creeks again. I will post something Monday. Yes Lil Rippers the 5 ft in Eufaula is a huge difference. Many people don't understand how Eufaula lake structure is. Leading into most of the creeks are mostly flats area. This has really changed throughout the years increasing the area of the flats from the silting in of sand. It is amazing to have watched what the South Canadian river and creeks have done over the last 35 years.
The low water does change it up but in my many years on Big E it's years like this with low water (steady/not fluctuating) that I have had my greatest success. Will have to see what the next few months holds as to the water level.
