Thanks allot. Looks like my trip may be over. The place where I was hammering the crappie has gone south with no action. Measured the water temperature this pm and got a solid reading of 68˚ F. I have been seeing fish caught in other areas, but too deep to wade and looks like mostly males. I kept a spread sheet of the days I fished with water temperatures and weather conditions. Hope this will help me in the future. I ‘m planning on buying new waders. Mine are getting real old and worn out. Lots of crawling in and out of Wind River Canyon and Lake Eufaula. I lost the big crappie when the opportunity came. Just have to be smarter than the fish. Learned allot about crappie behavior in shallow water. Hopefully, I will be back in Wind River Canyon this fall and return here again next spring. Thanks Rick
