CHEcrappie, wood definitely helped but it seemed like the break line was the main thing. Drop your jigs to the bottom in 12ft zig zag slowly from 12-14ft. It took me an hour to find the good bite. Caught 1 in 5ft caught 3 in 17ft, then moved into 12ft in the last hour caught 13. When you find that magic depth you won't have to beg them to bite. EB

Looks like some of you guys have found some fish. As soon as basketball season winds down for me I plan on hitting Eufaula. I would love to just watch some of you guys for a day. There's always impressive photos you guys seem to put together.

Eufaula boy, man that looks like some heavy line there, what are you using?

Tough day on the North end. Caught 30. Kept 18. All kept were over 12". Found the fish on brush they just didn't wanna hit. 17 fow. 10-14' deep. Best colors where chartreuse and green. Big fish 1.60#. No pics today
