Was able to take my 87 year old dad today along with his friend Ricky Ayers. We started at 7:30am and finished up at 12 noon. Huckabee Rods, Fle Fly Crappie Kickers in Black/Chartreuse and Brown Pumpkin/Chartreuse on Fle Fly Big Eye Jigs 1/4oz and 3/16oz. Ended with 46 crappie in 5'-7' Dow. Technique was double dipping.......RangerAttachment 238567
Very nice Ranger, it doesn't get much better than that.
X2 what Redge said.
Headed to big E to fish this weekend, looks like it's been pretty good to the guys that know what they're doing! Any tips on where to find a few on the south end? I prefer south because I'm familiar with it! Thanks guys!
Spent two days down there prepping my RV for a trip to the mountains. Didn't even take the boat and I'm glad I didn't. That water is just plain nasty right now.
Ranger,
My Dad is 88 and there's nothing I like better than taking him fishing. He taught me everything he knew and I've been fortunate enough to get to teach him a few things as well. Just no better memories. Rock on brother!
Guys the fish are going crazy right now. Junie and I camped at Crowder Point last weekend. We caught 44 on Sat and 46 on Sunday fished 5 hrs both days. Double dippin beaver bottom baits right off bottom on rocky points. It was our first time in our camper together. We had a blast. If you know of anyone looking for a fishing trip I have lots of dates open in June. Here are some pictures. EB
