Not much on here lately. I'm coming down next week for about four days - looking forward to some of the rain that's in the forecast. Plan on staying in the Porum/Duchess Creek area and work on learning that area a little better.

Most of my wood has disappeared in that part of the lake Floyd. Since you are in the area try across the lake at Brooken Cove area up the creek. Tere is a lot of standing timber and stumps with a lot of OWFD structure. Good Luck.....Ranger
Thanks. I do plan on hitting Brooken. In all these years I've never fished there.
We did well this spring in Brooken! If you don't have SI, call me and I'll send you some coordinates.
Redge, PM sent.
I want to try some place new this weekend, where the hey diddle diddle is Brooken? Thought about Crowder too?
What are your thoughts guys?
Only caught a few dinks last weekend fishing up in long town and under the Hwy 9 bridge.
Any thoughts on the Hwy 69 bridge N of Eufaula?
Trying to keep the wife interested in fishing and having trouble finding fish.

Not sure why, but not too many fishermen have been in here reporting on Lake Eufaula lately. Perhaps with the cooler weather, the bite will pick up and we can get some good reports.
Jim I can only speak for myself, but with Eufaula being the only lake fishable all summer I had gotten somewhat burnt out and needed to see some new water. I have been fishing Ft Gibson with success and those bog Black Species Crappie get my blood flowing as well. Now it's Tenkiller preparing for the upcoming Tournament. Just needed to see some different water is all. Eufaula remains one of the best Crappie fisheries in our state so be looking for some reports forth coming.......Ranger
