Was able to fish for a few hours today getting on the water at 11:30am and loading at 2:30pm...Had 23 keepers caught double dippin or as I say doin the Water Turkey Technique. Fish were still pushed off the banks and in 11' to 13' DOW fishing 10' deep. All but 2 of my fish came off the bottom jig so they are holding right off the bottom, and pumk/chart was the color for me. Anywhere you can find a little depression or ditch in that depth of water you can get hammered again and again. It doesn't have to be much of a ditch either no more than 1' will work magic. WT was 56 when I got there and with sunshine but the clouds took over pretty quick and the WT fell really fast and got down to 53.8 when I left. I did catch my first female of the season that was spewing eggs when I lifted her into the boat......Ranger

Kept 30 good ones yesterday. Water was 56 at 1 pm and 59 at 7. Fished 10' deep in about 15.5 FOW. Used jigs and minnows. Jigs out fished the minnows. No super big fish but about half of the fish were 12"-14". I think its prob the biggest bag of crappie fillets I have ever brought home.
Fished between showeres yesterday with Kyle and have a great day of fishing. We kept 39 keepers and caught probably around 60 to 70 total. Found some water in 60's later in the day but on an average the WT was in the upper 50's. Technique was double dippin and it didn't matter what color you used. The bite was somewhat off from the day before and of all the crappie I cleaned all had empty belly's....Ranger

Headed out tomorrow.....feelin sick so work can wait....What is the good news?????
Brian, I've not been out in a couple days, but my dad fished today and said he caught several in 3 ft of water. So I'd say be sure to check different depths and don't be afraid to fish the banks some. Good luck and give us a report!!!
Bowman, probably headed to Crowder in am Gonna have my dad and son....be a good trip even if no fish Thanks for the info...will let you know how it goes
That's where dad was fishing too, hope it helps ya.
Fished with Ralph Sr and Susan Pearce today and what a beautiful day. After the rain over the weekend the lake has risen a few inches and trash on the water. We started catching fish early along the break lines in 9' to 12' DOW. As the water warmed they moved up to 6' to 7' DOW. Another thing the rain has done is muddied up the water some also. The bigger fish eluded us today and for that reason I will be doing alot of looking in the next few days for fish I do not have to compete against for the upcoming Tournament....Ranger

Sorry for the late report. I took a couple of buddies to Eufaula Saturday and the fishing was good, not great. We fished from 10-7 and kept 50, we probably caught 100. The size was a little off but I did manage to catch one that weighed 2.30. We had 5-6 that weighed 1 1/2 and the rest were just keepers. We fished jigs in 8-12 fow, color didn't seem to matter.
