Racoon in my screened porch. Wife had me come home to dispatch racoon.
Wrangler had one of those masked bandits in our shop a couple of weekends ago.
He thought he had a new home, but he was wrong.
They also love strawberries, home grown especially!
I live in the country so they are a reoccurring problem as are the bobcats. I had screened in the porch last year so they were kept off of it till my wife decided it just wasn't right denying her dogs access to the porch and began propping the door open. She didn't learn, the door is still propped open. My issue was having to come off of the lake to take care of an unnecessary problem. :)
I guess I will have to post less fishing results in the future. Places where I have fished by self for 14 years have become crowded lately. One person even posted a pic on Facebook clearly showing the location. Another was a Striper guide with a boat full of customers because he could not put them on Striper. I strongly suspect my fishing results will be taking a dive in the future. Time to sink some new brush piles.
Sorry to hear that. BTW, I don't know if Lance called you, but I'm hitching a ride with him tomorrow. Not planning on learning rod-building techniques, just coming to visit friends.
Lance only asked for my addresd and offered no information of any kind.

I went fishing for 3 hours yesterday while waiting on someone I was teaching how to build custom rods to show up for his lesson. I guess I can't say anything about patterns or technics any more on here so I will post a pic and let that be it. To many in my fishing holes lately acting like I am infringing on there spot evin when I am there first so less info from here on out.
The flathead was fun on the crappie rod. I did not weigh it but the table is 22" wide
I forgot.... the rod building lesson went fine. I spoke slowly and used small words so they would be able to understand :biggrin.
I guess I turned a profit out of it because one of them left their sunglasses here.
