good to hear that you have fishing spawning there. We still don't have any sign of it happening here in kansas, haven't caught any males on the bank yet and female all have eggs. Look like you caught a keeper though.

Does anyone know what kind of habitat I need to be targeting for some blue cats with the current flood? Not asking for specific locations, just in general as I'm not very well versed on finding mr. whiskers... My first assumption would be anywhere that a pasture or other type of flatish ground is currently flooded. Bernice park comes to mind. Just wanting to get some eater sized blues.

I caught a few cats at Bernice state park yesterday. Biggest around 15#or so.
Dyabolical, I assume they were shallow and not in the channel due to the high water?
