Finally got a few minutes to fish (about an hour) last night at my dock. Caught 7 with 2-14 inchers and the others almost legal. Much different than 2 weeks ago with all 8-9 inchers. Depth 12-14 in 20 ft of water. BG monkey milk with pink head.
had to be swinging and then dead stick to get bit. Hope to try again tonight....

Coming down to Grand this weekend and was wanting to know if they are catching any off the docks on Monkey Island. Not bringing my boat so Dock bound. Thanks

Fishing reports (published by bait shops and other bait salesmen) have been positive but I haven't been on Grand personally. Looks like it will be a nice weekend though.

I haven't got to go much, but I have seen some nice fish coming from some of the docks. Seems to be hit and miss.
i did catch 4 slabs Sunday evening. Then they turned off!
I would think it should be good this weekend.

Thanks, Probably hit Indian hills, Port Duncan and maybe twin bridges on the way back to Miami. Sounds like they took the Dock out at twin bridges. I'll let you know how I did

I've been hearing good reports from Indian hills. A couple of them included the use of ice spoons or whatever you call them. Good luck!

Fished Indian Hill Friday morning and Ice spoons it was grandgpaw. Those using them were catching them. Fish shut down about 10:00 and that was it. Found out I wasn't a finesse fisherman. Guess Ill stay with the boat, heavier line and bigger baits
Caught some white bass in the Neosho river at Miami.

They were putting them about 12" to 18" apart using one blue and one pink. Tiny willow leaf spinner blades with #6 hook soldered to them and painted. Sold them up at the shop above the dock. Nothing huge but some nice 10"-13" crappie being caught.
