Fished blackwell again this morning with my mom. Fish were scattered. We picked up one or two around each stump/tree. Depth was around 13 foot with fish staying between 5'-8'. Tried numerous baits today but the only one that continued to get bit was the Texas Toast Slab bandit. If you have not fished the slab bandits, I encourage you to get some soon. Ended up keeping 19 fish from 7:30 to 10:00. 2 were 13" and the rest were the blackwell average 10"-11". Was a great morning getting to spend it with my mom!!!!
