Had to work but my jigs are ready for some slabs.
New to the forum. Haven't been to Carl Blackwell in years. We used to fish it a lot, but that was even before the heated dock. Going to take the kids up this weekend to hit the trout pond, and try to catch a few crappie at the dock.

Crappie wee really tough for most folks up there today. One lady had about 15 9-12" fish in her basket, and she was the only one getting bit at all.

What does it cost to get a boat on there? Which is the best place to put in? Are the ski boats and such as bad as I've heard? Is the saugeye fishin pretty good?
We stopped boat fishing that lake to tough and boat traffic is. Crazy
