Hit CB yesterday. Fishing was soso. Fourteen crappie, but only 6 that made 10 inches. Biggest one was 11 inches. They liked a 64th oz. jig with gray hackle feathers and a very small amount of pink hair, fished above a black gum BG. Son-in-law lost a big saugeye when another person volunteered the use of a net and said she would hold his pole as he did the netting. She lifted hard on the pole and snapped the line as he started to slide the net under the fish.
Ouch! What did the eye hit?
