Glad you guys had a great trip. Nothing like taking the kids out. Blues in Kaw are all mainly white in color. Biologists say there are no whites in the lake but there's a lot of people that will argue the point. We do catch some dark blues but mostly males. These fish have the hump on their backs just like a Mississippi white. Meat is white and not as strong as a normal blue.
