That's my job pappa DON'T be giving it away. Lately I would be happy to catch a lot of small fish.

Good luck Saturday. Best advice I can give you is either come really early or wait and fish later in the afternoon. Weekends are really crowded. I am headed out in about an hour to try them. Haven't fished since Saturday due to high winds. Wind is still blowing 10 to 20 today but it's better than 20 to 30. I know you guys probably don't fish with live bait but I would seriously consider it. Catching the bigger fish anchored over brush on minnows.

Toughest afternoon I've had on Kaw this winter. Fish from 1:00 to 5:30 today and caught 12 fish. Water temp was 43 deg. Fish were there just not feeding.

We were out there today as well. Tried rocks, suspended fish, etc. Lock jaw was the order of the day. 10 boated.

Totally shocked to see one pickup and trailer at Sarge ramp, one pickup and trailer at Pioneer and 4 at Washunga. Not many out today.

It was a tough day, but thank you dennishoddy for taking the time to show me around the lake!

I'll have to admit I was tempted to fish, but after 53 year's worth of Valentine dinners together, my heart wasn't really into fishing today. We had dinner and went to Braum's for a sweetheart sundae.

I'm with Dennis. Took mine out Saturday night. Watched the weather and knew Sunday was probably gonna be the last good day for awhile. Kinda different around my house cause the wife, kids and grandkids all love to crappie fish so I don't get yelled at very often. Couple weeks ago water temp was in the mid 30's and the fish were schooled up now it is headed toward the mid 40s and the fish are really scattered. It doesn't help either when a weather front comes through every 2 days. Haven't seen a consistent wind more than a couple of days in months. Saw it blow from 3 directions yesterday.
