Anyone been on Kaw lately?
Went out yesterday evening for about an hr before storms rolled in, was trying to troll cranks along sarge rip rap, not a bite but made a couple passes, did mark alot of fish that looked like crappie, the water is stained pretty bad from Kaw city to the river,not sure about up the creeks, sorry i didnt even check water temps,,, on a side note if you like catching the hybrids we have been catching several of them in the evenings trolling cranks on the humps..

Decent hybrids too. Caught these the other day. 7.6 and 4.5.

Hmmm, I recognize where that was taken
Spent most of the day on the water yesterday, fished piles from 8 to 20 ft, ended up with 11, most caught cast and drag with 1/8 and 1/16 oz jigs (which im just trying to learn), water temp was 80, Water from Sarge creek north was very muddy, and will probably stain the rest of lake soon with all the rain up in Ks.. Long day Sat for Crapalicuous and I, fished 10 to 5 without boating a fish!!!! wt was 72 and stained from rains up north.... fished from washunga to burbank areain piles, I guess thats why they call it fishing and not catching!
