I like a pattern that will sink and ride hook up, you get a good hook set and avoid snags. Here is one I really like. Attachment 163457Attachment 163458
How did you snap my picture without me knowing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's funny Fishers!! What size hook is on that crawdad?
Dont know about the pic Redge, I would prefer a 6. If I was after mayfly imitation like you said, I would go 8 and a single tail.
That is an enormous carp Fishers- huge! Would you venture me a poundage estimate? We need more of this kind of pictures; cross dressing carp etc..
Not my pic, snagged from the internet. The average in Wyoming on Pathfinder Res. was about 10 lbs though.
Very nice snag. Image is stuck in my brain and to quote Reaper, "I love it!"
Fished Kaw this morning. Kinda slow on the bite using jigs. Seems the would move in and you catch 2 or 3 then they would turn off. Kept 6 keepers and headed home to the AC!
