I would love to know how you do

It was slow Friday. There was a boat tied to every stob it seemed like.
All were fishing minnows. When they started clearing out a little after noon, I switched to jigs and began jigging in the heavy cover. About one a hour is what I was landing. Lost several that wrapped me up in the cover. Brought home 5 crappie. All males. I did see shad flipping around, so the sandy's should be following the food shortly.
For reference the board is 12" wide.
The second pic is one I took after seeing 6 boats heading for the ramp. Getting around the corner, there was this memorial with a date of 4/10/14, and written on the cross was a note that said, may you fish forever or something like that.
Anybody hear about somebody dying there recently?

Was there this weekend saw that had people about it also. Didn't fish there til Saturday afternoon 4 of us caught 19 pretty slow like you said about one a hour...
Caught 27 upu the creeks on sunday, almost all large females, and 21 on the lake Yesterday on the lake. males moving to the shallows on the lake. JIGS
Good Luck!!
I fished all over lake after work and only kept 12, most were barely keeper males with a couple of decent females, was fishing shallow with jig and a bobber. I think im gonna stick with the creeks a bit longer... I love watching those sows bend the rods!!! Darrell
Kaw has been good lately the few times the wind has allowed me to fish. Any rock bank with deep water close has been holding fish.
The wind on the lake has been a beast!
I fished coves on the main lake yesterday. Large chunks of moss everywhere. Lake must be turning over in spots. 63 WT.
Couldn't keep the Kentucky's off the line long enough to catch a crappie.
They can take a grease bath just as well as the crappie. I would not discriminate.
Fished kaw for the first time yesterday, from the bank. Working out not far from it so I'm gonna try to hit it up in the evenings. Yesterday was mainly a scouting trip I checked out alot of different spots and caught a couple dinks, a little bass, and a little catfish(on a black/pink beavertail!) I did see some people catching them from the bank, all pretty small though. I'm gonna give it another shot tonight.
Fished Kaw this morning, wind was really pushing the boat around. Hard to stay on a spot, even with two anchors! Caught 6 keepers, all males, about 10 to 12" long. Slow bite today using tube jigs and grubs. DOW was around 6'. Bank fishermen using minnows were not doing any good either. WT 63.5 degrees. I'll hit again tomorrow.
