You guys deserved that fishing in that wind yesterday. Went by you yesterday afternoon and it was getting pretty rough. Glad you found some.

Honestly Nip 3 or 4 inches won't hurt us. The lake has been staying around 1009.00 to 10.10 all winter. It's really better fishing from 1011.00 to 1012.00. Not gonna complain about the rain yet it is dry. Seems like the last few years once it started it didn't stop.

If the Kaw watershed gets 4" in the next 24 hours like the weather folks predict, the lake level will likely be 1020 or there abouts in the next week.
They have been releasing, but just barely above generation levels. Still sandbars exposed below the dam at the house.

Dodged a bullet last night only got 2 inches in Kaw City. Think they got a little more up in Kansas but we will be okay. This will only help the lake. Needed the rain to move some water. More is forecast for the weekend but no big amounts. Lake may rise a couple of feet but that will improve fishing. It all depends on what happens at Keystone. If they can release then Kaw will to. When they flood downstream from Keystone and no one can release that's when we get in trouble.
