I also fished yesterday, my crappie fishing was at the dock but the bite was good. Caught more 9.50's than anything but did manage a few in the 10 to 11 range. Probably had 15 to 20 between the three of us, the dinks were deeper at around 12 to 15 fow while I seemed to find the bigger ones in less than 5 fow we were fishing between 9:am to 11:am. We were mainly running jug lines so was just crappie fishing during the soak, as for the jugs we did pretty good there also with 12 blues in the 2 to 4 lb. range which is the size I like; just had to fight the wind.
Tough day with a different wind direction. 2' swells or bigger coming down the river today. Just glad I was in a Ranger. Ended with 20 really good crappie and the bite today was in 12'-22' on wood. We couldn't fish where we needed to but we overcame the conditions. Joe and Tony from Kansas it was a pleasure having you guys with me today. We caught about every species swimming today as well. Tested the New Huckabee 7' Dindo Rod out today on 4 different gar up to 20lb never failed us. Attachment 251201Attachment 251202
Fished Friday with Charlie and ended the day with 27. It was certainly an afternoon bite. We caught a few that morning but the turned on after the 2pm time frame. 14'-22'. Fished Saturday with my Pastor Jessie Bible and our Youth Pastor Blake Yarbrough for their Pastor Appreciation Trip. It was a short trip due to other circumstances out of our control. We ended with 15 crappie and 4 sandies fishing for 3 hours. Same depth but on this day we drop shot minnows using the Huckabee Dingo Rod. Fun filled 2 days of fishing and good to see some different water since I had been on Eufaula all summer......Ranger Attachment 251566Attachment 251567
Fish the river this morning. Water level very low. Did catch 15 fish some really good fish 12" to 14" fish. Just had to find brush next to deeper water. Monkey milk still best color
Had a great trip with some Missouri boys, Dan and James Sharp. We all felt the thump and caught numbers of quality fish. Crappie Kickers were a big part of our success. Great Day to spend on the water with awesome clients. Dan even caught a big Hybrid on a High Standard 6' Ultra Lite with 6lb mono and what a fight it was. Line ripping, pole bending, great time. We ended with 38 and the magic depth was 14'-20'......Ranger

Launched at 9:15 started fishing at 9:30 loaded up at 4:05 ended up catching a 3 man limit of 45. We fished laydowns and brush in 12-20ft. We drop shotted minnows for half the day then castes and dragged the other half. We fasted a 1/16 tweedless Timmy Tom jig with bobby Garland minnow mindr. Monkey milk was the best color. You had to slow it way down on that brush to get bit everytime. Biggest fish was 1.67. EB
