Is there a map with the state brushpiles?
Yes I have map. It's worthless. Even the one's that had been marked with a buoy are gone, including the buoy. When that big flood hit 1 1/2 to 2 years ago it wiped them out. Then that last flood finished it off. I have about 6 I made with five gallon buckets full of concrete and pex pipe to put out and a few Christmas tree's. I contacted the Corp of engineers about putting them out and got the go ahead.Quote:

Not the best picture. But this is what I've been doing. Getting free 5 gallon buckets and I already have a couple left over rolls of pex tubing and so just for the cost of a few bags of cement is my only out of pocket cost. If anyone ever wants to get together I am fixing to make 6-12 more soon and it should't take long to place them out.

Does Gibson have a heated public fishing dock near Sequoyah State Park? I'm camping out at the Seminole campgrounds this weekend with the wife and kiddos and would like to fish early morning/evening and don't have a boat.
Not any more. The new owners of what used to be the restaurant /fishing dock floored over the inside fishing dock and expanded the restaurant. In the last heavy rain/flood all the boat slips and restaurant broke loose. They are still working on damage repair. I have not been able to launch my boat on the ramp there. No idea when things will return to normal.Quote:
