Ok I just got all my fle fly crappie kickers in but they are for the big e buster brown black chartreuse and electic chicken . I'll soak them with some bubble gum spray. With rain in the forecast might need to find a dock to pull under . No mater what I'm fishing I figure if I can hunt in rain I can fish in it to

I know the water is still up (561.15) but is anyone getting out to fish Gibson? I fished the bank across from taylor ferry Monday but only caught 4 and they were all small.

Until they shut off the gates and current it's going to be a tough hole to fish. This time last year I was guiding Gibson with great success in mid May through Mid June....crappie hate rising and falling water and current even more....Ranger

Wow Ranger, I seldom see a time when Gibson isn't doing one of those three, but I believe what your saying it's been at least 5 years since I've took a limit off of FG but I don't get to fish it as often as you. Do you find that falling water is worse than rising, or is there any difference?

Falling water is worse since therebis current coming down the lake. Rising water depends on how fast but I don't likenit either. Lol. Mother Nature has certainly dealt us a stacked hand this year. We also have to thank all the UPPER CLASS so they think that love on Grand Lake that can't get their grass wet. My $.02 worth and rant......Ranger
