Lakebis on the rise. Has came up several feet in the last 2 days and did I say trees coming down the lake. Not limbs full blown trees, so with that said be very careful right now. Fished the last 2 days with Dan and James Sharp from Kansas City and we had 2 successful days on the water. We only kept quality fish and let the rest swim for another day. Big fish both days were 2.01 and 1.97. Lots of 1.25 to 170 being caught. The bite yesterday was pretty good but as the lake rises and current gets stronger the bite has let up. Fish yesterday were eating and today their bellies were all empty. They have left the coves and staging again. High Standard Carbon Rods, Fle Fly Crappie Kickers in Pearl/Chartreuse, 3/32oz Timmy Toms Weedless Jigs, 6lb Vicious Hi Vis Mono. 12' to 20' yesterday and 16' to 26' today.......Ranger

Any reports? Ain't fished sense Sunday an only thing biting was channels and bluegills that day. Only managed 4 keepers that day. Going out at caney after work in the morning hoping for a fish fry tommarow with more crappie than bluegills this time.

Killer was a tough bite yesterday with a lot of current and debris coming down the lake. We did manage to pick out 16 and the longer into the day it got the tougher the bite was. DOW was 16' to 26' and yes the lake is still on the rise. Both the 6' & 61/2' High Standard Carbon Rods being the second day I have fished with them are becoming a true favorite being lighter than any I have ever used, sensitivity is good along with plenty of backbone. Baits was different today being the BG 2" Slab Slayers in Pearl and Pearl/Truse. Timmy Toms Weedless Jigs to keep us snag free. Thanks Savey Johnson for fishing with me today.

Had to wait on the rain to quit this morning. Hit the water at noon, caught roughly 50 fish today kept my limit to cook for supper! Caught some really nice fish today, downgraded to small ones so the big girls could spawn!! Personally haven't caught a spawned out fish yet, however some friends have. Should be a good tournament next weekend !!
