Fished Tenkiller with clients Keith, Ron, and Scott from St Louis today. They wanted a lesson in cast n dragging for crappie. I can say they took to this technique as a duck takes to water. We targeted fish early suspended along the break lines in 20' to 30' DOW and then moved up to deep wood in 18' to 25' DOW as the day went along. We caught over 70 today and keeping 43. Wt early was 63 and got up to 66 before leaving in a few places.........Ranger

Couldn't get all those pigs on the tailgate.... Lol about 1/3 still in the ice chest. It was a beautiful, cloudy, windy, cold day with sprinkles several times. My clients didn't have enough clothes either. I furnished a set of insulated bibs right off my back, 2 hoodies, and a rain suit from storage compartment on the boat just so we could fish to keep them from shivering. Lol. Way to much tip action after a cold ride in the boat. Lol. Lesson learned for sure....it's always colder on the water than on dry ground.......Ranger

LOL the last time I was over there I was cleaning fish and it was 35 degrees. Tough on the hands! It seems like we are warmer in the winter than in the spring. Ive froze my butt off more in the spring than the winter LOL CRAZY! But I love it, Can't wait to start pre-fishing for the classic. EB

Fished today with clients for a 1/2 day trip and cleaned 37 catching over 50. Technique was cast n drag over wood and rocks. Big fish today was 2.33, 2.11, and 2.05. Pretty hefty bunch of fish. WT was 63 when we started and got up to 65 at noon.......Ranger
