Lil off topic ,,but hit tenkiller yesterday to catch smallmouth with a friend and literally could not get away from the sandbass ,,jerkbaits , red eye shads , A Rig, crankbaits,, didnt really seem to matter ,,,if we got hung up we would pull up closer to the bank and you could see them everywhere ,,water was clearer than i have ever seen it you could see the bottom in 12-15 fow ,, put in at Strayhorn and fished our way north
finally got out of the sandies about chicken creek and started catchin our target fish

Crazy do you know what the water temp was on that end if the lake ? Know what you mean on the sandbass !!

Senior Jigger and partner caught a limit of crappie yesterday somewhere on the upper end yesterday. He said the females were spewing eggs as lifted in boat. Most were caught in 10' to 16' piles casting cork and jig over them and letting the wind drift the corks and jigs over the wood. That's all I know about that lol......Ranger

Man what a beautiful weekend!! Didn't slay the fish, but we had a good time! Water temp 65 on the upper end. Saw Senior Jigger and his
Partner, had a nice visit!!! Was on lots of fish this weekend, but could only pic a few up here and there. Did catch a 5+ lb bass that had me excited for about 2 seconds, until I realized what it was.

Redge, you're a hard man to get excited if a 5+ lb bass only last 2 seconds!

I like them Crappie! You can have all of them trash fish!!lol
