Fishing tenkiller for first time tomorrow morning. Will be putting in at Carter's landing as that's the only place I know from a girl at work whose dad fishes tenkiller, but think he fishes it during spawning so don't know how good it's now. Anyone have any advice where to fish or if I should put in somewhere else? Any help would be appreciated!

Ikeni has offered some good advice, those are both good places, and close to fish. Sorry I didn't see this earlier!!
Fished this morning myself, saw Bowman had a nice visit. What a difference a day makes!! Really had to work for the fish today! Didn't even get my limit. Fish were there just not biting what I was pitching! Saw some eagles. WT 37 degrees. They weren't letting water out, so I am blaming the fish today on the front that came thru. The longer I fish, the more I want to know!

Tenkiller can certainly humble you Redge. I have seen it all my life especially in the winter with the slightest weather change can make
for dead water. As Charlie would say and I have heard it for years "what a difference a day makes". It effects winter time crappie on deep clear water lakes much more due to depth. That's my guess anyways. When I tell and respond to questions at the depth I am catching crappie this time of year in the 30 to 40' depth range fisherman say that's crazy and shake their heads. The deeper the fish the more pressure up or down affects them......Ranger

Dad and I fished today. saw redge and had a nice chat with him, although he did rub it in a lil as we watched him catch a fish or two while fishing was tough to say the least. Found some more trees today and even managed to get a few fish for the live well this afternoon. Bite picked up for us around 2 or so and we managed 20 for the well. Most were 10 1/2 to 11 with 3 or 4 being 13-14 inches. Bite was at 30 ft for us in about 50 fow.

@poohage, we put in at petit bay. This ramp does have a $3 boat launch fee though. Just a heads up in case you wind up there!!! Good luck in the morning, post up some results!!!

Not a good pic, but this is today's catch minus the one dad had already started cleaning.

Going to fish 10killer sat AM, I'll be putting in at Carter's, and working my way down, I would think with the warm weather some blacks would move a little shallow but I could be wrong. I'll be in a alum./red Crestliner w/115Merc, say hi if you see me.
