Slabs and I took a little fishin trip today. Fish didn't want to cooperate. Been catching limits all the time til today! We had a good time even though the fish didn't cooperate. Thanks for going Slabs! Talked to 3 other killer guys all had the same story. Mudline is about Cookson .

Why do you think the fishing were not biting on Tuesday? I'm retired and would like to learn why crappie bite better on some days than others.
I don't have a clue MT! Went this morning, they still have lockjaw. If anybody as an idea why they do develope lockjaw chime in!!

I always blame it on water flow if there no fronts messing with them.
Fishers I had reached the same conclusion! Do you know of a corps web site that actually shows which gates are open etc. , all I have found is the release data like you posted?
More detailed info at this site, it has the real-time water flow. Mouse over the station you want, left click and a box will show with a hydrogragh and other useful options. I like this site after hard rains to see which waterways are dumping hard into the lakes. The corps doesn't tell you where the water is coming from, just the total inflow to the lake from all tributaries. Lakes like Eufaula, Kerr, Keystone, Wister ect. have more than one major tributary, it helps me decide where to fish if I can see which tributaries are blown out. (NOTE) Sometimes you have to search up the tributary you want to check, before you find the station you need to check the flow. http://waterwatch.usgs.gov/?m=real&r=ok
