That's funny Ranger, the week before it was 37 degrees, glad to see it warming. I like the 1/4oz jig head from Crappie Pro also, for the deeper water. I switch to the 1/4 after about 25'. I think it also helps keep it in their face, without the swing. I stopped by Crappie Pro last week, if you all haven't been there, I would highly recommend them! Salt of the earth people!

Right On Redge. Larry and Janice Russell owners of Crappie Pro are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They are also sponsors of our Torunament Trail and I like a lot of us will continue to support them besides they have great prices on their baits and every color and style of Bobby Garland Baits, Yum Beavers, and Wasshoppa. Plus hundreds of Crappie Pro Heads on hand in every size.....Ranger

Where is Crappie Pro located at?
-
Google says it on RR6 in Eufaula. I'll hebe to check em out next time I'm down there.
-
Crappie Pro is located on Texanna Road between Checotah and Eufaula on 69 Hwy. Crappie Pro is located 3 miles East on the right side of the road just past Campers Corner which is the turnoff to Belle Starr. Hope this helps

No limit again today, but we did manage 13 keepers. Wind made it really tough to stay on trees today. Fish were caught at 29-30 ft deep in 45-50 fow. Wt was 43.7 or so. Did find a few trees I'd sure like to try, but wind would not allow it today. Fished out of dads boat again today, can't wait to get back over there in my boat and look at new trees on the hds 8.

Bowman your killin me! Wish I could fish during the week!! Glad you found some!

Redge, that is one of the things I love most about my job, most my days off are during the week. Like ranger said, not many others out there. Think we saw one boat go by. Thinking I may go back in MY boat tomorrow and check out some of the new spots we saw today.

Spent the day looking for new structure today. Found several new spots and once the wind died down a little was able to pull 8 keepers before deciding to head home and see the family. Good day on the water for me!!!
