I used to live 1/2 mile from T-Bird and about this time it seemed like the black jacks started looking a little worn out and in the mornings the air smelled like fall, and the crappie started to come out of hiding for me as a bank fisherman. On Saturdays it was tough to choose between golf at the empty OU course or crappie fishing. I got tired of making that decision so I gave up golf and probably added 10 years to my life!
